John Crofts MBChB BSC DPM Dr Crofts is the diabetes lead at the Oaklands. He supervises the diabetic clinic and has an interest in cryotherapy.

About Dr. Tanya Stevenson
Dr Tanya Stevenson MBCHB, MRCGP, DCH, DRCOG joined the practice in 2017.
She is the practice’s safeguarding lead and she also looks after our patients at Newton Court nursing home. She also has a special interest in children’s health.

About Dr Piers Longhorn
Dr Piers Longhorn B.Sc(Med. Sci) M.B Ch.B. DPM joined the practice in 1999. He has interests in respiratory medicine, information technology and palliative care.
He performs joint injections (“cortisone”) for many common musculoskeletal problems.

About Dr Teri Johnson
Dr Teri (Teresa) Johnson MBChB, DFSRH, DRCOG is a part-time partner at the Oaklands she joined the practice in 2000. She trained to be a doctor at Liverpool University and qualified in 1993. She completed her vocational training in General Practice in 1999.
She has a Diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Health ( DFSRH) and a Diploma in Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRCOG) She has a special interest in family planning, sexual health and gynaecology. She also has an interest in skin conditions and aesthetic medicine.

DR Katie Gibbs MBCHB, MRCGP joined the Oaklands in 2011.
She works full time and is a GP trainer at the practice She is also the lead GP for our care homes and looks after patients at the manor.

We currently have one secretary. Please be aware you may speak to a different secretary depending on the time of day you require assistance. Our secretarial team deal with all aspects of typing including referral letters.

Our Summariser is responsible for ensuring your records are transferred onto our clinical system from paper records.
